I wear green
sit on a green couch
look through a green window
drinking green tea
in a green cup
watching green trees
swaying in the green wind
green grass
green parrots
green hills
green fields disappearing
into the green distance
green leaves falling
on green pathways
green raindrops falling
from green clouds
my phone plays Green Day
Boulevard of Broken Dreams
that lonely road
playing in the middle
of all this green
I sit there
sip my green tea
listen to the song
watch the green world outside
nothing but green
nothing but green
so much green
I’ve become part
of the green
green here
green there
green everywhere
you know man
I’ve been there
I’ve been in the green
