while staring at their
rectangular glowing screens
wearing pyjamas
in the middle of a shopping mall
in broad daylight
just then
a Chihuahua passed by
wearing a fancy little jumper
walking beside its owner
it stopped for a moment
looked at the two women
then carried on
I wondered
if the little dog
had also noticed
something about dressing sense
